Lady M.C

My Journey

At 35, married and with a professional background in health care administration, and a degree in Economics, my journey as Lady M.C began long before I stepped on stage as a host. Growing up with strong church roots, I developed as a musician, singer and leader performing in gospel choirs, orchestra's and leading worship taught me the importance of presence, timing and connecting with an audience. This foundation allowed me to naturally translate charisma, confidence and energy into every event I lead.

In addition, my experience working in the nonprofit sector strengthened my skills in organization, communication, and community engagement- all essential for creating events that are both meaningful and memorable.

In 2010, I officially began my professional hosting career at Boston’s Strand Theatre sharing the stage with Haitian legends like Emeline Michel, Lionel Benjamin, and Beethova Obas. That first event with over 500 guests and an international artist, proved that my artistic training, leadership skills and professionalism could translate into creating memorable experiences on a large scale.

Over the years, I've expanded my expertise to include weddings, cultural festivals, political rallies, corporate galas and major community events. I even had the honr of hosting and translating for former Mayor of Boston Marty Walsh-- experiences that strengthened both my professional skills and my ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences.

In 2021, following a personal health challenge, I took a bold step by enrolling in the first-ever Hosting Academy under the mentorship of  Host Valcin. A few months later, I officially launched Lady M.C, merging my musical talents, leadership, nonprofit exerpience and professional expertise into a hosting career that continues to grow and inspire every day.

My Philosophy

Your event isn’t just a date — it’s a memory in the making. My motto “Se la pou’w la” (Its here you got to be), means I’m fully present for your celebration, ready to create an experience that feels intentional, vibrant, and unforgettable. And in the end,  your guests will not only be raving about your event. They will always be in a constant reminder that you just had to be there to experience what they just experienced. I believe in working hand-in-hand with every vendor — from DJ to photographer, from coordinator to bartender — so we’re all moving in sync. The night may not be perfect, but together we can make the best version of perfection.

My Style

As a multicultural event host and Haitian-American MC, I blend:

  • Professionalism- Every detail is intentional, every moment is executed with precision and your event is managed with the highest standards from start to finish.

  • Connection- I take the time to understand your vision, needs, and unique story, ensuring your celebration reflects exactly what you envisioned.

  • High Energy to light up the room when it’s time to party

  • Warmth & Grace for heartfelt, meaningful moments

  • Precision and organization to keep your timeline smooth without losing the vibe

  • Collaboration that ensures every vendor shines, making the whole event stronger
